The Charles F. Duford American legion Post #47 has established the following charitable Funds

The Gulf II Fund

The Gulf ll Fund was established for the purpose of providing moral support and physical comfort to active service  members in foreign countries during times of hostile actions. This would apply primarily to the Middle East and Afghanistan Theaters.

The Gulf ll Fund through donations of money and goods provides those service men and women with items not readily available to them that would ease daily hardships and improve morale. The funds are also used to pack and ship these items.

 The Downtown Marigold Fund

The Downtown Marigold Fund was established with the intent of providing the Town of Holliston with a beautification program through the use of plants, pots, signs, fences, plantings etc.. The location of such materials shall be limited to the Town of Holliston, and will include Veteran’s Squares, street corners and streets. The locations will not be limited to town property.

Funding of this project is from donations as well as post projects.
